Multi-storied RCC building at Ganga HSS School inaugurated
ITANAGAR, The multi storied school building constructed by PWD Capital Division A with an estimated cost of 1.4 crore under SIDF of 19-20 has been inaugurated and handed over to the school authority by Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso at simple but impressive function. Kaso appeals to the teaching fraternity and students community to maintain the infrastructure.
Addressing the inauguration function, MLA Techi Kaso said that whatever funds are being received in my third tenure are being utilized for development of school and hospital buildings in the capital complex. I do not receive funds like the ruling party but whatever is received is properly and judiciously utilized. There area around 11 Higher Secondary and Secondary apart of dozens of Pre-Primary, Primary and middle schools in capital complex which is huge in compare to any district of state and due to which the fund received from the government are insufficient or inadequate to meet up all the requirement of school like of Higher Secondary school and secondary school in capital. He said.
I have been trying hard to get funds from other sources but due to huge demand I was able to manage all the demands of the general public, especially the rural and urban area. The fund placed in panchayati raj are being utilized by Panchayat and Rural development department and the fund for urban area are being utilized by Municipal corporation and I never interfere in their activities. He said.
I have never discriminated against one and never had any intention to disappoint anyone as thousands of people have faith in me and I also try to deliver the goods to the masses even if people from various parts and districts are staying permanently in the capital complex and using the facility being the state capital complex. I have utilized the fund during my earlier tenure in creating and development and improvement of infrastructure which include roads, culverts and other. I hope that the state government understands the needs of the capital complex, comparing the population with other districts. Kaso added.
DDSE ST Zara, Itanagar ZPM Taro Tagia, PRI leaders, former PRI leaders, social and public leaders, Principal, Vice Principal, officers of various departments, students among others were present on the occasion of the inauguration of the school building.
A memorandum was also submitted by the school authority which MLA assured to take up in the next financial year based on the fund provision.
