PPDOA prays for best performances and medals from the Indian team at Tokyo
NAHARLAGUN, JULY 23 : The Papum Pare district Olympic association (PPDOA) today launched a programme to cheer for the Indian team who will play for the country at Tokyo Olympic in several events.
Addressing the members of the association, President Techi Peko Tara said that it is a proud moment for us that even due to global Covid 19 pandemic the athletic of team India has been made to represent the Tokyo Olympic. We pray for their good and spirit and pray that they perform better than ever and bring laurels for the country.
Vice president and Papum Pare ZPC Chukhu Bablu said that we are grateful that the team India players are having high morale with a good health and sound mind and hope that they play well and keep the country’s name at high. We have lots of hope and expectation from them and pray for their good performance and bring back laurels on their back home.
Secretary General, Tana Domin inform that we have planned several programme but due to covid 19 pandemic and lockdown we could not do much and hardly able to conduct few, we have planned several activities but the continuous surge of Covid 19 infection in state and region we could not conduct programme related to youth development and others. We have choked out and will begin with several promotional programmes for development of games and sports and youth welfare.
We have today organized the programme to motivate our Indian team to perform well and pray for their good health and spirit and come back with laurels for the country.
